When it comes to stumbling blocks, women’s experiences vary. Perhaps the pharmacist has invoked the right to refuse you the morning-after pill, on “moral” grounds. The fact that religious beliefs continue to trump a woman’s reproductive rights in this country is an outrage, though hardly surprising.Personally, I do find it surprising.
So, let me spell this out for any hard-of-thinking, sky-fairy-worshipping morons out there: the morning after pill prevents conception—it does not induce abortion.
Are we sorted? Do you understand this basic biological fact? Excellent.
Warning: by all accounts, the morning after pill does, however, make you feel like absolute shit.
