What he should be doing, top line IMO:
Reduce income tax or increase the threshold to £12000 before any tax is paid
Reduce corporation tax and employers NI contribution
Reduce VAT to a sensible level which is around 5%. Who ever heard of a normal sales tax at 20%? it's bloody outrageous!
Cut government spending to live within the tax take.
