In those four years, I've ranted and raved; I've changed and firmed up my political views; I've made many friends (from the entire political spectrum) and a handful of enemies; I've been both quoted and derided in the MSM, and by other bloggers; but, most of all and without any reservations, I've had lots of fun in this here blogosphere.
So, as always, a big thank you to The Kitchen's contributors, readers and commenters and, as they say, here's to the next four years!

Well,
Happy birthday, and thanks for the links. They were a buzz. They told us we were getting somewhere.
Hope the bastards don't ban you in the next four years.
Many happy returns, and let's hope the Goonvernment don't ban Blogs before you can reach your 5th birthday!

Congrats on four years DK, your rants have kept me thought provoked and amused in equal measure for a good half of that.

Congratulations, Mr Devil.
Henry said "Interesting - I shall be celebrating my 2nd birthday in 17 days time", which just goes to show how intelligent and indeed precocious at least some of your followers are.
Devil, Old bean,
Happy anniversary.
Life is full of mysteries, but one which intrigues me is why the logo of the labourlist.org site (Red two-tone cross) replaces your, and only your, site logo in my Firefox bookmarks toolbar. The change is not permanent, reverting to normal when clicking on the bookmark. I don’t know what triggers the change but I have noticed the event several times each day for the last few days.
There is a possibility that you are playing tricks. Whether Dolly Draper’s blog is responsible I have not the skill to judge.
The issue is no problem to me but may be construed as damaging your brand.
Regards
mmm
Happy Birthday, yours is one of the blogs I turn to most often and probably the most entertaining one I read.
Happy birthday DK. Ive only been reading your fine brand of thought provoking sweariness for 18 months or so - provoked by my utter outrage at the smoking ban. i thought Id poke round the interweb to see if anybody else hated new labour as much as I did/do.Im not alone.Nice to find someone who thinks the way I do
Further to my previous note. On my start-up your site was sequentially branded;
