Uh-uh-oh, it's a-gettin' closer

For those of you who expressed an interest in taking a little stroll on the fifth of November, Old Holborn has the details.
For those wishing to take a stroll on the 5th November, I shall be taking suitable refreshment prior to my stroll from 11am onwards at

The Chandos
29 St Martins Lane,

Here is a map.

See you there. It may well be your last chance.

The Chandos is a Samuel Smith's pub, so you should find the prices most agreeable too—about £1.80 for a pint of bitter. For those who cannot make the initial libation...
November 5th, 12 Noon, Trafalgar Square.

Just a nice, gentle stroll; no protests, no banners, no chanting—just a nice, gentle stroll...

Apologies in advance for not being there, but will be watching via webcam here, and here.

Good luck.

what gets me is that some people are worried about this stroll. That's how bad things have got. Alexis de Toqueville was right.

I shall be there, a day off work (as a lawyer, comes in handy that job sometimes) and a walk will do me some good.

A simple half hour walk past Parliament, where I have walked a thousand times.

And what springs to mind?

"Is that ALLOWED?"

Stunning isn't it?

646 of them. 60,000,000 of us.

I will walk wherever I fucking well please. It is MY country. It does not belong to the crazy 646.

Does anyone remember seeing the monocular one on GMTV being interviewed. How he put on a soft "trust in me voice'. That's what this is all about

"ssshhh people don't make a noise, I will look after you, stop the drinking and smoking I know what's best for you, go to work and pay your taxes, be good people and just lie there while I dose you up on some nice morphine...."

Remember, remember,
The Fifth of November,
Gunpowder, treason, and plot.
I see no reason
That gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.

If the exigencies of duty allow, I may turn up. It sounds like just the sort of healthy outdoor fun the NHS is always telling us we need.

As a follower of your blog, you would be more than welcome.

Exercise makes you stronger. It is good for you. It is healthy.

Enjoy 30 minutes worth.

It may be your last chance.

I would have taken a walk on the 5th, but it's the missus 40th birthday and we are in Florida.

However, I will be wearing my "Barak Hussein Obama is a twat" T-shirt though....

NHS Fail Wail

I think that we can all agree that the UK's response to coronavirus has been somewhat lacking. In fact, many people asserted that our de...
