Toynbee is an embarrassment to the Guardian’s great traditions.
She would chop down a tree and stand on the stump to make a speech about conservation.
Now, what is the poem that this reminds me of? Oh yes...

When it comes to conservation matters, what with people going hungry on account of biofuels and the economic gloom being exacerbated by so called 'green' taxes, this poem comes to mind, in a lateral sort of way that is.
