Suicide: not entirely serious

There was an interesting juxtaposition of stories on the Beeb site in the early hours of this morning...
A man was arrested as part of a police inquiry into the sale of a DVD which appears to glorify suicide bombers.

... and...
The suicide rate among young men in England and Wales is at the lowest level for 30 years, say researchers.

That DVD is pretty ineffective, then.

Does nothing work in this country anymore?

Most films I watch these days seem to glorify suicide. Or at least they seem to suggest (perhaps inadvertently) that suicide is the only really valid response to the modern world. I mean, have you seen Definitely Maybe?

No, nor me.
