IT'S a green light for turning the air blue. Psychologists have discovered that using swearwords makes you more believable.
In a remarkable endorsement for celebrity swearers such as Gordon Ramsay and Billy Connolly, the researchers found that statements peppered with expletives were significantly more likely to be believed than clean versions.
Look into my eyes... Listen to my swearing... Agree with me... Feeeeeel the credibility...

Passion? Anger?
Of course, if a statement is delivered with force, anger and passion, then it is rational to expect people to have a tendency to take it on face value first before analyzig it for truth later. We all know what happens to kids in Horror movies who do not listen to their parents who tell them to be quiet and stay absolutely still.
As they are kids, the parents are often culturally denied the ability to hiss "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" even though they probably have been aching to do so for a decade.
I've not been culturally denied from calling the kids "Fucking idiots"...
Anyway, point I came on to make was that your two celebrity references are Scottish. I wonder if there's a reason for thon?

This assertion contains no swearing; it doesn't convince me.
