Via Daring Fireball, PC World have revealed the world's fastest Windows Vista laptop.
The fastest Windows Vista notebook we've tested this year is a Mac. Try that again: The fastest Windows Vista notebook we've tested this year—or for that matter, ever—is a Mac.

Aaaahahahahaha!

I wonder if the edge is down to it using an EFI motherboard, not the wheezing 1980's "Voyager 6"-grade BIOS of the others?

It might also be down to the fact that Macs tend to use high quality components.

I am just hoping someone gets OpenVMS running on it (which already runs on Itanium EFI-booted servers).

DK, Im not sure if you've seen this yet but if not you'll love it. The picture of the monitor is bad enough before you read the message on the screen.
