I wonder if the edge is down to it using an EFI motherboard, not the wheezing 1980's "Voyager 6"-grade BIOS of the others?

It might also be down to the fact that Macs tend to use high quality components.

I am just hoping someone gets OpenVMS running on it (which already runs on Itanium EFI-booted servers).

DK, Im not sure if you've seen this yet but if not you'll love it. The picture of the monitor is bad enough before you read the message on the screen.

That may indeed be the truth, but I find any such measurement by PC World to be as scientifically sound as the fucking IPCC.

Nice looking machine, though.
