Apparently the Tax Credits system is unfair.
The Tax Credits system was conceived and put in place by Gordon Brown. What a pity that the Beeb do not see fit to mention this, even once, in their entire report.
The tax credit system is "unfair" to some of the UK's poorest families, the Parliamentary Ombudsman has said.
As a result of the "harsh" way HM Revenues and Customs (HMRC) recovers overpayments 363,000 families are being pushed into debt, Ann Abraham added.

Let me just point out that Tax Credits sort of picked up where the Tories' Family Credit left off, the welfare system, with all the distortions and crap was just as bad ten or twelve years ago, please look up 'Taxes, benefits and family life' IEA, by Hermione Parker, 1995.
So the Big Two are equally to blame.
The 'Tax Credits' system may well have picked up on the tories system but why create a system where they take your money, give you a portion back and make your employer waste the time on working it out?
To generate jobs in the means-testing and surveillance industries.
...and to make a downtrodden, dependent, client population too scared to risk losing their handouts to vote for anyone else but Labour.
