At some point yesterday—and according to Statcounter—The Kitchen passed half a million hits. On June 29 2006, The Kitchen had racked up just over 100,000 hits in a year; this means, of course, that the hit rate this year has been almost three times that of last year.

So, the usual humble and grateful thanks to both the readers of and contributors to The Kitchen (rapidly becoming the Official Retirement Home For Overly-Busy SwearbloggersTM as we welcome the ever excellent The Nameless One to the roster).
