The late Blair era is characterised by just one word - cowardice
No, Pol, it's a total lack of vision, characterised by the fact that I cannot be bothered to comment on anything. Can we have an election now?
Under the shadow of the Iraq war Labour has lost its political nerve and its confidence in itself as a force for good
Y'see, this is why I think that Polly is an irritant who should shut her face: Labour is not, and never has been a "force for good". It has consistently fucked up every single policy it ever had; it has fucked up every policy it took from the Conservatives' roster of fucked up policies and it has fucked up everything else.
For me, the reign of NuLabour will, from now on—until I feel like calling it something else (next week)—be known as the fuck-up years.
