Europe: Have Your Say!

Having been invited to be a guest contributor to The Devil's Kitchen, as I have been, is one thing, but dipping one's toe into even the outermost circle of Hell is proving a humbling experience. I only hope I can demonstrate that I am worthy.

Never mind all that. Let's do some good.

The Europe Minister, wee Douglas Alexander, will be "answering your questions" on BBC News 24 tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 11:30, and the BBC website is giving you the opportunity to take part.

What would you like to know about the EU? Do you have a question about how it is structured, staffed or funded and how it affects your life? Send you question [sic] for the minister by clicking the button below. This debate will be available on the website later in the day.

Of course, the site is fully moderated, so my question ("Why are you such a twat, Douglas?") is unlikely to make it through. But you may have more luck. And it would, frankly, be criminal to allow an opportunity like this to pass by.

Have Your Say!

Surely, the question to ask is: "why is the EU structured, staffed or funded, and why is it allowed to affect my life?"
