Sucky sites

Part of the appeal of blogging, to me, is the ability to play around with a website and get feedback on occasions, I can try new tricks and see if they work quickly and easily. I can also watch referral logs and see what sort of things the readers get up to. The more I learn about design, the more I realise how little I know. Fortunately, despite being a rank amateur, I'm still better than a lot of people out there. One of the better diversions when I'm looking for something to feel superior to is always Web Pages That Suck - The Daily Sucker. Well, there's a "Worst of" poll up; Candidates for "Worst Page Featured on Web Pages That Suck in 2005". Every time I looked at one, I thought it was the worst thing I'd seen for a ages. Then I looked at the next one. Some of them don't look awful, but, well, try to figure out what the fuck they're selling? Or where you're supposed to click to get anywhere? Pay particular attention to the boxes on the menu for the girls school.

Seriously, some of those sites were designed by people that got paid real money.
