Sorry for the brief hiatus in blogging; I'm trying to find my bile as it seems to have dissipated slightly. I do really want to address Princess Toni's article, even if everybody else will already have done so.

Thanks to my contributors who, by chance, seemed to have weighed in at exactly the right time, thus ensuring that it looks like the lights are still on. I shall resume when I have found some more anger.

It's always best to strike while the iron is hot. I read the piece and hit the keyboard with my thoughts running. If I were to write the piece now, it would be a more considered and rational work. Frankly, what is needed when faced with the big lie is to shout it from the rooftops, not to dissect it dispassionately.

I actually started typing before I had finished reading. The result is an unbalanced, illiterate, hate-filled, ad hominem, and utterly spiteful rant, and I probably still put more thought into it than whatever preening ignoramus wrote it.
