Seen this a while ago DK. Old hat I'm afraid.

I am about the same on the y (economic freedom) axis, but a touch to the right of you on the x axis - firmly libertarian.

Whilst this is fair, the top right is bunkum: Ayn Rand could never be described as an anarchist. Really anarchy does not respect property rights: it must be at the bottom of the y axis, not the top. Surely?

toodle Pip!

P.S. V sorry to have missed out on your lunch with Arthur: We were awash with snot here at the Grace And Favour Apartment so you wouldn't ahve wanted to see me even if I could break the quarantine restrictions. You around tomorrow?

It's more of a sphere as the extreme "socially permissive" (such as PC) tends to imply transferring the externalities (pollution) of "permissive" activities onto other people, which is something a libertarian would not be in favour of.

Basically the "social pollution" of coerced-collectivism AKA socialism is analogous to industrial pollution.

Anarchist is hugely broad word, although it tends to mean either:
a) free-market libertarians who don't want a government /at all/ (e.g. even police etc. done by free-market practises)
b) left-wing anti-authoritarians, who (these days) tend to also be anti-capitalist, which often implies a rejection of property rights, yes.

I think that test takes (a) since its the one with slightly more mainstream representation in the USA (and the slightly more clearly defined).

I'm socialist apparently, although these tests always have such ambiguous questions that its hard to take it seriously.
