So, hampered by the fact that I have no camera, and by the fact that I still need to get a new lightbulb for my desklamp, here is my workspace. It is, as you can see, a mess: however, my computer files are fiendishly, anally well-structured.
For those interested, my full complement of Macs runs thusly:
1) 7300 PowerPC 166MHz 604e processor
2) 400 MHz blue and white G3
3) 800 Mhz dual processor G4 (Mirror Drive Doors) with two hard drives—named Scylla & Charybdis (in close up in the second piccie).
And I love them all, like children, they are lovely, beautiful machines. And, yes, they do all have names (they are all Greek gods or monsters: Cerberus (iPod), Charon (black and white laser), Persephone (colour laser), Megaera, Tisiphone and Alecto (various Macs) and Hades (our internal network)) and, yes, I do talk to them...
I also have, on semi-permanent loan from a contract client a Dual 1 Ghz G4 (Quicksilver).
