You'd know all about that...

... wouldn't you, Polly dearest?
Few people live without hypocrisy, with no contradictions between principle and practice, nothing embarrassing that risks exposure...

... says defender of the poor, Polly Toynbee, in her Guardian column—for which she is paid roughly £120,000 per year.

I think that I should return to fisking Pollyanna as often as I can: alas, I haven't the time just now—and so, for the present, this monument to Polly's self-knowledge much stand proud.

Wasn't it 'Pretty' Polly who declared that all earnings shoul be 'put on the notice-board' at the place of work? When challenged to reveal her earnings she demurred - quite strongly.

I skim-read the article earlier after Jock Coats tweeted it. Breathtaking in its disingenuousness.

That or Polly is off her trolly.

Both, I think.

'Hypocrisy' should be tatooed across her arse.

Why tattoo it on her arse where only a mortician will see it?

How much do you think she should be paid/is worth then?

Frankly, I couldn't care less what the hypocritical, dotty old bat has to say.

DK, you elevate her to a position of gravitas she ill-deserves by merely mentioning her.
