Make your mind up

Here's a little video, from Total Politics that aims to enourage people to vote.

I think it's a wonderful comment on our democratic process: a bunch of over-the-hill wannabees prancing around to a hackneyed, out-dated tune whose appeal is utterly superficial.

Like it...

I can't help thinking that The Cure's Freakshow might have been more appropriate...

Is it wrong to be slightly attracted to Lynne Featherstone?

I know the country's in the mire atm, but I just saw it as a bit of harmless fun and tbh I'd rather see 'em pratting about like that than actually doing something that could cause damage ;)

I sent a congratulatory email to Lynne Featherstone when whe won Hornsey and Wood Green, because I used to live there. At the time I was there, the MP was this hideous New Lab creature called Barbara something, and her election literature was all,

CANDIDATE NAME is working hard for CONSTITUENCY NAME and Tony Blair's policies will improve STATISTIC in CONSTITUENCY name and then three pictures of the Creature doing local things- meeting frightened old people, standing outside the police station etc, all in the same clothes on the same day.

Lynne's on the other hand was like, local woman, GSOH, non-smoker, likes walking her labradors and watersports, with a lovely photo, like a dating ad, so it made me feel like I was in with a chance there so I voted for her. But she didn't win :(

So when she won the next time, I emailed her to say welld done, and she emailed back, and things seemed to be going somewhere, but then she for some reason didn't like my next reply, the one about her blow job mouth, and that whole restraining order thing was just ridiculous, typical Lib Dem overreaction, I nearly dismantled my Lynne Featherstone shrine, I'm just glad they never found all the pictures I took with the telephoto lens. I'm not voting for her again, the cow.
