Reading City AM this morning...

... and I was wondering—is Nick Clegg the stupidest man on the face of the planet?

In announcing a whole raft of "ideas" that are designed to punish bankers—but will, in actualité, punish anyone vaguely successful—this parasitical non-entity has spelled out just what a pathetic, vicious little cunt he is.

Your humble Devil has concentrated most of his fire on Labour and the Tories because they are the two largest collections of shits in the country.

This may have been unfair to the LibDims who might be, after all, kingmakers in hung Parliament.

I used to think that these cints were a harmless but mildly amusing irritant. But no more—it is ever more obvious that Clegg's LibDims are vicious, stupid, economically illiterate morons whose intentions and actions are just as evil and crap as those of NuLabour.

It's time to fuck the LibDims into the irrelevance that they so richly deserve.

I wouldn't bother. They seem to be handling that pretty well by themselves...

Orange is just a variation of red, and a precursor - as in the traffic light - prepare to stop.

Saw that Cable fella on the box last night saying that banks must be "forced to lend" and talking as if they are as good as Nationalised (the plan, I suspect).

He went from Mr Bean to Mr Bean.

p.s. Andrew, green is little better for, as everyone must be green, all lights are, so a car crash followed by a mother of all jams grinding us all to a halt is inevitable.

Haven't read it yet but the economy is fucked, no matter what we do unless we leave the EU tomorrow

Yep, Vince Cable's master plan - the part-nationalised banks must be forced to lend lots and lots of our money to businesses that don't want it and to businesses whose proposals do not pass the banks' risk assessment!

What a genius - correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it this type of lending which got us to where we are now, courtesy of Gordon Brown's turning of his blind eye?

There's nothing liberal about the lib dims.

Longrider said...

So you finally caught up? As Bishop Brennan points out - Liberal Democrats are most certainly not liberal. They are merely a jaundiced version of Labour. orange is the new red. So's blue, these days.

Forcing banks to lend eh? what next forcing us to borrow? please say I'm still asleep.

The final outcome of a fiat money system is mathematically inevitable (no matter how much forcing you wish for).
Its like trying to plug a leak in a dam by digging material out of other parts of the same dam (then throwing 20% of it away).

Yes okay, but what is the final outcome that you say is inevitable?

They are economically illiterate, which makes even more annoying that Vince Cable has been lauded as some kind of economic expert by the media including the BBC.

Christ, DK must be pissed off if he is misspelling swear words.

The Liberal Democrats are neither Liberal nor Democratic. They are effectively still the SDP - who were, for all the world, Blairite's before Blair came on the scene.

Seriously, the Liberal Democrats should be sued under the Trade Description Act.

Having been a Liberal when the Parliamentary party was an interesting bunch of oddballs, mavericks and nutters I was dosappointed last time I looked at Lib Dem voice blog to see the commenters were defending Labour's use of bogus statistics while berating the Tories for putting a bit of spin on crime figures.

It felt like an arse about face version of Mark Anthony's speech, "We come to praise Labour not to bury them."

So why doen't Clagg just say, "We're shite, you might as well vote Labour"? At least we would know where we stand.

Come back Lord Sutch.

The trouble with the Lib Dems and a problem the Tories have too is that they are both two parties in one.

There are some good Lib Dems, even libertarian but there are some idiots too and we've tangled with a few of these.

DK you are so fucking right. These cunts deserve to be hammered just as much as the other bunch of cunts.

The Party political system needs to be smashed.

Get the voters to vote for the person - not the team. Then get the elected to vote for the management.

Total collapse and reversion to an asset backed (gold) money system.
Hopefully, also the closure of all central banks and having governments coin their own money and not borrowing it at interest from a private bank, otherwise the cycle will just repeat.

nah. not stupid. like huhne, he's just necessarily a political prostitute. will say anything, about anything and package it up for anybody who might be stupid enough to vote for him and the rest of the LibDums.

but that doesn't remove the fact that the man is christingly, cringemakingly useless.

I've got a stupid business idea guaranteed to fail, does this mean they would lend me the money for a startup?

Is it actually legal to target specifically bankers, those in just one field of employ, with a raft of measures? Isn't that discrimination? Let's be fair, the chairman of British Gas is ripping off the customer and getting a womping great bonus and he doesn't appear to be on the hit list. And let's not get started on MPs, who are also jibbing off the taxpayer on an annual basis. Or MEPs, who do the same as MPs but are even mroe expensive and even less useful.

Anything and everything is legal for our rulers in the post-democracy, Vicola. They can make it up as they go along.

I've just discovered that when you search 'devil's kitchen' on Bing, in the search results the tagline for this site reads:

'Thoughts on British politics from a UKIP member.'

Oops.
