Via Bishop Hill, with more details at the Volcanism Blog, this stunning picture of a volcano erupting was taken from the International Space Station on 12 July 2009.

Mount Redoubt in Alaska has a growing lava dome that is building up for a collapse any time soon.

http://scienceblogs.com/eruptions/2009/05/waiting_for_redoubts_big_boom.php

I'm waiting to see how the BBC and the AGW catastrophists will cope with all those millions of tons of SO2 currently spewing out of Sarychev. Prepare for some nice red sunsets and a cold winter.

Then there's all that CO2 as well. Add Redoubt to the equasion (when not if) and it will make a complete fucking nonsense of carbon credits and the AGW scam.

Volcanoes erupting are caused by global warming, didn't you know? Earthquakes too. All the melting ice causes the sea level to rise and the extra weight causes earthquakes and volcano eruptions. It's true, a scientist said it was.

That's no volcano; that's DK reading the morning papers.

Great photo, taken 12th July 2009 via a time warp no doubt. Does NASA have an advanced technology it's keeping very quiet about?

12th of June you mean?

Honestly!!! Scientific knowledge !!!
It's a satellite right. Going round the earth, right. Crossing the International Dateline over and over again, right.

Hence 12 July 2009.

Simple. Tsk.

A volcano? I though it was a view of the sulphur cloud over Al Gore's house after he's taken his morning dump. Did you know the fat bastard wipes his ass with $100 bills? Why? Because he can.

Sure it wasn't over N Korea and there is a D notice on it?

Mount Erebus on the Antarctic penisula has been relatively active over recent years. Coincidentally while ice has been increasing over Antarctica as a whole it has been decreasing on the penisula. his is officially evidence of catastrophic global warming.
