Some time ago, Blogger changed its permalink functionality: the permalink now reflects the original title, not the current one.
It seems that The Telegraph's CMS does the same thing...
UPDATE: whoops! No it doesn't. It seems that it's just that the article is referenced by number and you can put in whatever name you like (there are some classics over at Charlotte's—I particularly like this one). Still very funny though...
... especially since you can do the same to The Independent.
