And this week's entry is... [drum roll]... fucking Flash adverts that take over or otherwise capture your mouse pointer. They are fucking evil and agencies and companies who use them should be shunned.

Doesn't Safari have facilities like the Noscript/ Adblock Plus/ Controle de Scripts addons in Firefox? I've never been troubled by what you describe, although maybe I haven't visited a sufficiently offensive site.

just use firefox with no script and adblock, as view from the solent says, I've never seen these evils of which you speak ,plus everything loads faster,even gets rid of ads down the side of yahoo mail etc........

Your humble Devil apologises for his lack of posting: it has become increasingly difficult to actually put quill to vellum, as it were.

It's not purely that the political situation is rather uninspiring, it is also that I have become very much out of the habit of writing (about politics, at least). As such, every time that I fire up the blogging screen, I feel an incredible weariness.
