Jackie Ashley: stupid, deluded cunt

I found this piece of shit article by the awful, awful Jackie Ashley and contemplated fisking it. I mean, there's so much to rage about in this one paragraph alone!
A perfect chancellor would have seen some of it coming sooner. Perhaps it would have been better to hold more money back for hard times. But almost nobody was against the desperately needed extra cash for schools and hospitals when Brown found it. Everybody wanted to let the good times roll. Consumers and voters of every party - we were all at it. Turning round and pointing at Brown is a little childish.

Fortunately, for I am still a busy little Devil, Prodicus has spent some time ripping Ashley to shreds.
You need to broaden your dinner-party list, Jackie. Include some of the people you patronise, you overpaid, arrogant, insulting, blinkered, out-of-touch, know-nothing-actually, socialist, collaborating, casually-vicious, pathetic, crap-scribbling producer of utter fucking arse-gravy.

Oh, and you can convey the very same sentiments to Polly, next time you two do lunch.

Rather well put, I think...

Leave him alone DK! We all wanted to let the good times roll! Don't you remember how good this country was to live in a year ago compared to now? Exactly! It's all our fault!

Sarcasm overload?

Capital investment in school and hospital buildings, needed because the last labour government (that tremendously successful one in the seventies) spent the whole fucking weeks grocery money on capital investment. And yet buildings, barely 25 years old were falling down - because every single time government is involved in procurement of goods or services they are conned, overcharged and then let off the hook because the next poor fucker in the chair is there when the shit hits the fan.

That Blown and Brair managed to put one of the strongest economies in the world into this amount of debt and potentially fuck us all right up the arse for the next 15 years is hardly the fault of those daft enough to believe them much less the many who wouldn't touch them with the proverbial 'yours'.

Labour never could do sums, it's not in their DNA. Meedja studies and sociology maybe, basic science now way, far too hard. There's no reason to assume that this Labour government will end up any different from past ones - buried under a deluge of debt.

I do wish your post titles were less ambiguous.

Building extra schools and hospitals plays on the heartstrings very nicely, but who exactly was in favour of the UK economy expanding on the basis of billions of dodgy credit and borrowing which is precisely what Gordon promoted?

When Blair got elected Mrs Budgie made sure we still had some candles - left over from the 1970s.
