Gordon's still stealing the Tories' clothes

Railing against Brown's NHS proposals this afternoon, I felt a strange sense of deja vu. Gordon Brown has, it seems, run out of ideas. Not content effectively to steal the Tories' policy on Inheritance Tax, it seems that Gordon has been paying attention to some of their policies on the NHS too.

That's right: David Cameron also proposed the idea that those who didn't live as the state demanded should have their right to NHS treatment removed.

Failing to follow a healthy lifestyle could lead to free NHS treatment being denied under the Tory plans.

Just to show that I am not party political, here's what I concluded when that little gem popped up.

In the meantime though, the rest of this proposal merely exposes the Tories as lying, stupid bastards; they talk about responsibilities but they are perfectly happy to renege on the government's covenants.

If you extort money from them to pay for their medical care, then you must treat them; if you don't want to treat certain people then you must allow them to opt out of that extortion and find their own solution. Otherwise you are breaking a contract.

Fuck you, Cameron, you fascist cunt: fuck you right in your big, fat, fucking baby's face.

What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander; or, rather, if I'm going to call Cameron a cunt for this proposal, then it's only fair that Gordon gets both barrels.

It seems that Gordon's still stealing the Tories' clothes though...

Anonymous said...: DK as I am sure that you already know as you have a close affiliation to UKIP that it was actually ukip who had the inheritance tax idea first and the Tories took it from them. Although I think that UKIP's was a little better than the Tories and the Tories was a little bit better than the Labour one.

But you are right Gordon Brown has never had a ood idea or is he capable of one but Cameron is just as bad. Also the Government has been making some desperate economic decisions that are going to create big problems.

For example the interest rate decrease could create problems. It could make the credit crunch worse because people are not going to lend money for less return especially as there is greater risk. Also this is not likely to provide any mortgage relief to the people that actually need it. I wrote a letter to George Osborne and Mervyn King and some Treasury ministers explaining why is you want to read it email me at smithbarry22@yahoo.co.uk and I will forward you a copy or any one else for that matter.

Also why don't they increase civil servants pay for a month rather than decreasing the interest rate to increase aggregate demand because they said that they slowed pay increases to stop inflation so why not compensate for this by using the need for an increase in aggregate demand by giving the civil servants what they should of had at least in part. I know that you will say that it is to reduce mortgage payments but it won't if you want evidence of that then read my letter.; 1/01/2008 09:53:00 PM

And to show what a spiffing good sport he is, on behalf of all the Conservatives in the country who had been burning black candles to Blair's photograph for a decade, he ordered Tory MPs to give Blair a standing ovation in Parliament.
