This, I think, is known as "speaking truth to power".
Matthew Marr, press adviser to party leader Wendy Alexander, quit his £60,000-a-year post after becoming "tired and emotional" at a glittering awards ceremony and loudly describing Scotland's First Minister, Alex Salmond, as a "c***".

I have a sneaking sympathy for the man, you know...

Is this M Marr related to 'wing nut' A Marr?

OT, I wondered why Gordon Brown ordered British troops to run away from Basra. Has it got anything to do with the five British hostages? has Gordon Brown been negotiating with the terrorists? was the price of releasing the hostages that British troops ran away from Basra AND is Gordon Brown going to pay money to the terrorists? I have a sneaky feeling that millions of pounds of taxpayer cash will be handed over to terrorists and I wonder if Gordon Brown will admit to the cave in to the terrorists demands?
I think we deserve to know!

I find Alex Salmond highly entertaining, actually. He ought to be insulting Scottish Labour AFAICS.
