If anyone is wondering at the relative lack of swearing, my current calm is caused by my re-discovery of Centrifugal Force.

Normal service will be resumed in an hour or so...

UPDATE: BBC 2 told me that "Thursdays are funny" and yet now Graham Norton is on. Now I'm angry: they lied to me...

It references electronica from jean michel jarre through eno and bowie in his low/heroes/Neuköln period and quite a lot of other sources like Mike Oldfield and "Tubular Bells" I see how Gronk namechecks Nick Cave. Some segments are like those soaring piano parts in Abba tunes, though if anybody remembers an artist known as "Moondog", his ghost is also there.

Worth listening.

Glad you liked it. Gronk was 16 when he wrote and recorded it and I still think that it's a good piece.

Then he's a fucking genius..

He is. That's why I keep promoting his music. I listen to his songs more than I listen to any other artist.

There are over 100 songs on the Music page, and they are all worth downloading (I personally sifted though the 400 odd songs, jams, demos and assorted recordings to pull together those compilations).

And all free!

Gronk has just emailed me to point out that, actually, he was 14 when he wrote it...
