Peter Hitchens on Question Time

Here's a rather splendid clip of Peter Hitchens laying out our relationship to the EU, i.e. as a subservient province.

That's not to say that I agree with everything that Hitchens says on every topic, but he's spot on here. Boris, also on the panel, has the good grace to look embarrassed and keep his mouth shut.

Getting the two Hitches together was quite a coup. It was on this show that Shirley Lickspittle Self-Loather Williams was exposed and the audience of students exploded the lie about tuition fees and the daft "50% at Uni" fraud.

Since that show I have routinely scanned YouTube for Chris Hitchens. Great stuff!

Thanks for posting that DK. Good clip.

Very well said. I noticed the audience seemed to like it, too. The politicos seemed to be uncomfortable, too, which was a bonus.

"The politicos seemed to be uncomfortable"

Even Dimbleby looked uncomfortable which is a first.

The Hitches should have their own show.

Yes, I'm with you on the PH front - don't agree with everything he says but spot on on this topic...

and on the topic of policemen on the beat, and 'compulsory' State provided (socially bullied) nursery for children, and the MMR, and mostly on education, and...

actually I seem to agree with a lot but Sshhh, don't tell him - he hates me!!
