Your humble Devil has finally found a use for Polly Toynbee!
The European Space Agency (Esa) is after volunteers for a simulated human trip to Mars, in which six crewmembers spend 17 months in an isolation tank.

Can we volunteer her? It's the ultimate Big Brother; I can just see Polly moralising at everyone and then the other volunteers finally snapping and beating her to death. Winner!

In a caravan of 6 people trailing accross the desert - how long does it take the 5 saddled with huge backpacks to kill the leader?

Would she give up her £140,000 salary for a salary of just £41,000 over 17 months though!?!

Can we send Hazel Blears as well?

Seventeen weeks! She'd be dead in well less than 17 days. (less than 17 minutes if I was in there too...)

Are there insects on Mars?

I would recommend not killing anybody until a couple of minutes before they open the doors again, otherwise the stench will be awful.

Throw her out of the airlock, without a spacesuit and watch her explode.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was not to read the rant that she's always been a 'simulated human'.....

Please, please God, could you let this happen?
Stick Yasmin Alibhai-Brown and George Monbiot in too, and they could bore one another to death!
