Once upon a time, there was a young programmer who wrote some super software that enhanced a free Microsoft download. MS even gave him an award for it. And then MS decided that they didn't like him after all and threatened to sue.

Once a bully, always a bully, eh?

If they gave him an award haven't they in effect endorsed the product?

Surely they can't claim that they didn't know his add-on supported Visual Studio Express. They must have tested it before the award.

Any lawyers care to comment?
