Seems to me that the GP has made a perfectly reasonable decision. Maybe the spastics in 'Management' would care to publicly explain why and/or how a potentially invasive and distressing process should be visited on these unfortunate women. But you can bet that the idiot who wrote the letter will not be named and shamed.
