Two princes

I decided to research the two MPs with whom I shall be sharing the 18DS sofa tonight and, obviously, the first port of call had to be TheyWorkForYou.com. So here are the voting records for Conservative MP, Richard Spring...
  • Moderately against introducing a smoking ban.

  • Quite strongly against introducing ID cards.

  • Quite strongly against introducing foundation hospitals.

  • Quite strongly against introducing student top-up fees.

  • Moderately against Labour's anti-terrorism laws.

  • Very strongly for the Iraq war.

  • Quite strongly for investigating the Iraq war.

  • Very strongly against the fox hunting ban.

  • Moderately against equal gay rights.

... and Labour MP, Nick Palmer.
  • Moderately for introducing a smoking ban.

  • Quite strongly for introducing ID cards.

  • Very strongly for introducing foundation hospitals.

  • Quite strongly for introducing student top-up fees.

  • Very strongly for Labour's anti-terrorism laws.

  • Very strongly for the Iraq war.

  • Very strongly against investigating the Iraq war.

  • Very strongly for the fox hunting ban.

  • Very strongly for equal gay rights.

There's absolutely nothing surprising here, except that someone would be stupid enough to vote for ID Cards. We shall see what we shall see...
