One of the advantages of being in London, rather than 400 miles away in Edinburgh, is that I can go and celebrate my brother's birthday, which I duly did last night (even though it isn't until Monday really. But then again, I think that the whole weekend is being dedicated to general partying). Met a load of people that I haven't seen since school, played some pool and got pissed.

And so it was that I was celebrating another event, and thus missed this blog's second birthday; yes, yesterday The Kitchen turned two. Cheers to all those who continue to read my ravings! Blogging has increased in influence a lot over the last year: I think that next year can only see an increase in this trend. Onwards and upwards, and here's to another year!
